I took this picture after it randomly started pouring rain, and there was this orange thingy, which I can’t remember what they’re called. I was attempting to get the closer orange light thing in focus while leaving the rest in the background blurry. I think it was slightly unique that I was standing in a big mud puddle? People don’t normally do that. I had the camera on manual focus because that is much cooler and easier to focus what you want to see than auto focus. I was pleased pleasantly with my photo because this picture shows exactly what I saw when looking through the lens, although I lightened the exposure a bit through photoshop, so it looked nicer than it already did.

Great shot. I really like the super clear orange reflector against the blurry black background. When I blew it up full size I could see all the raindrops and I could even read the US Patent number on the dark orange handle behind it. The detail and vibrant contrasts are what really makes this a cool photo. The only thing I could think of to improve the photo would be to adjust the levels of it in Photoshop to darken up the the colors a bit and make them really pop. But, those are more my personal preferences toward pictures, so if you like the real lightness of the yellows and oranges then this is still real nice. Well done. MFS from SPHS.
This is a nice picture. It is an interesting choice of subject matter because I usually don't pay much attention to the cones or construction objects I see on the side of the road. However, the composition makes it quite interesting. I like the bright colors and how they contrast with the background. The exposure looks good and you did well with focusing on the orange light. The only thing I may have done differently would be cropping more off the right side since there isn't much going on next to the yellow/orange light. Overall great job!!

This is a great picture. I like how you used the shallow depth of field in this picture- having the front reflector in focus and the rest of the shot out of focus. Also, the orange reflector contrasts really well with the dark green background. The only distracting element in this shot is the orange reflector to the left of the one in focus. It is distracting because it looks like it is coming out of the reflector in focus. Otherwise, this is a great photo.
