This picture was taken in my backyard one afternoon. It was in the first few weeks of school and the day we got our cameras to take home. I was getting use to how work the camera and started taking random pictures of my dogs in the sun. I decided to fill the frame with my puppy Rita. I centered her head in the middle of the picture and made my depth of field very small. The grass and everything else in the picture I made blurry on purpose because I wanted the main center of interest to be Rita’s soft, fuzzy face. I am extremely pleased with the photo and my lighting.
