escapefromthecity

I took this picture on a family road trip earlier this month. There were lots of cool old houses along side the road, so I decided to take a few pictures of them. This one turned out to be my favorite. I cropped it a little, and obviously changed it to black-and-white to give it a vintage effect. To make it more interesting, I intensified the contrast quite a bit. My favorite aspect of the photo is the fact that it looks like an old picture. I used a fast shutter speed to capture the photo quickly, since we were driving and I had to take the picture out my car window

I love love love texture. This photograph is very well balenced. And the shades of grey really make the texture pop. The road makes a nice S-line that weaves through the photograph, making your eye see the whole picture.

Photo 2 is so good this year!! You guys are doing great!

I really like this picture...The setting is gorgeous:]]
It almost looks like one of those back in the day photos during the war.
I think it was a smart decision too put this photo in Black in White because thats what makes it stand out...the only thing i really have too say would be too maybe make the foreground stand out a little more.
other than that....
Good Job:]]
