I took this picture while walking home after school. The sun was reflecting off the street sign and that’s what caught my attention. I like how you can see the rays from the sun, and how the trees in the background are really dark.

This photo is one of my favorites on the whole ERHS photo website! Even though there is a huge sun spot, that is what, I believe, makes the whole picture. The way the sun hits the sign and how all of the colors in the entire picture are, basically, what I can call perfect! good job! I can't even criticize this:)

I think this picture is okay. I think that the colors are pretty but I don't like how the background is so washed out. I think the idea of the shot was good, but the white spot from the sunlight is distracting and not helping the picture.

This photo is really nice. The sun coming through the corner of the sign and only seeing the tops of the houses makes the sky seem enormous. I also like that the trees just below the sun has rays of light coming across so it looks like different colours than all the rest of the trees. This picture is just very interesting to look at.

I feel like this could have been a much better shot than it turned out to be. There's a lot working against it. Mainly, the fact that almost the entire subject is completely out of view because of the sun. Maybe if you had moved just slightly, so that the sun was at least partially behind the sign, the shot would have turned out better. Honestly, that's the only major problem. The composition is good, the colors on the house seem fine, it's just that one major problem that works against the whole image.
