Sunny Days

I was doing an assignment for photo two, and took this looking up into the trees’ with the sunshine shining through. I like how you can really see the sun rays through the trees. The color is balanced and didn’t turn out with a yellow tint, and it’s in clear focus.

This picture could be really good, but this sun is way too bright. its very blown out and it makes the tree look too dark. The sky looks very unrealistic and the lower half of the shot is way too dark and distracting. The subject (which I'm guessing is the sun) is too bright too look at and there is no place for me to rest my eyes.

I really like the idea of this picture but there are some things detracting from making it great. I love that the sun is shining through the leaves but I think that the sun is way too bright and takes up too much of the image. With shots like these, it can make a world of difference if you move just a little bit and block more of the sun.

Neato - i like zis.
The abstract quality is great. I think you could do an interesting series of sun glares. Glares in trees and windows and fences!

My only real complaint is the composition - the sun should not be perfectly centered, but rather use the law the thirds. This would be much more more interesting.

All in all - great job :)
