Want a Ride?

I took this picture last year in December when I went vacationing in Vietnam. The picture didn’t turn out the way I wanted to because I was using a regular camera. I like this picture because it shows us that people in Vietnam use boats more then cars to transport them from one place to another. I didn’t like the background of it though, I wanted it to be brighter but I couldn’t do that with my camera. I picked this picture because I had some very wonderful experiences on the boat and awesome memories. I didn’t do much I just adjusted the levels.

After reading your story I like your picture more than before. That is weird that the people in Vietnam use boats more than cars for transportation. You could work in Adobe Photoshop CS3 to change the colors. For the rest it is good picture.

The composition of this piece is really good. The canoe and pier provide nice leading lines that draw the viewer's eye across the page. To make the composition better a tighter crop could be useful. It will change the focus to be soley on the canoe and pier. Also a hue and saturation would be useful. But the subject is really good

this is kind of a depressing picture because some people actually travel by canoe. the lighting is amazing.
