Photo by: Cami Medlock, 5th period
This was a photo I used for our color on black and white assignment. This is a picture of my younger brother, Scott; I thought of this idea right when we got the assignment because the kid has cool eyes and needless to say this would really make them stand out. Luckily he agreed to help me out. I’m happy with the way it turned out, especially the lighting. The focus could be better and there’s a little fuzzy on his eyelashes that I should have removed, but still one of my better shots.

I admire this picture. The lighting is perfect and the color of his eye really stands out against the black and white. The main subject is in focus. Great job!

This shot is very well done. The exposure is a little fuzzy, but that does not change the shot drastically. I have to agree with the photographer when they said they liked the lighting. I enjoy the fade to white on the bottom right corner and right side. There's always been something about eyes that are able draw attention, and leaving it colored was an even better way to captivate.

Good job with this one. Keep the good shots coming.

The color is cool, but I think the framing of the shot is what makes it really powerful. Well done.

Nice photo. I like the idea you had to color only the eye. Very clear and I like how you can somewhat see what is in the reflection of the eye. Good job

I really like this picture! I love how well your colorized it and the different colors of their eye is crazy! I swear I can see a reflection in the eye too. I like the freckles too. They really add to the rest of the photo.

Awesome photo Cami! This is a really neat example of photo colorizing. The color of your brother’s eyes are very different and stand out among the black and white. The reflection in the eye is also very entrancing and makes you wonder what is in the background he is looking at. Perfect focus; perfect photo.

This picture is really good; most of it is in focus except for the left side. But it’s all good. I like how the eye if really clear and you can’t see your own reflection in it. Nice job.
