I took this picture when I was surfing at Westport. Its pretty cool because you can see the footprints of the surfer on the beach. The shot leads into the ocean and lets you see what the surfer is looking at. This picture is amazing and I find it hard to think anyone could top this!

This picture makes me feel sad cuz i see the gray sky and no waves and a lonely surfer in the distance not being able to ride but go home with his surfboard and only imagine what it would have been like to ride the waves. Or maybe he did and is exhausted. I jus enjoy how he's walkin away and the mood of the picture. He could have gotten eaten by a shark.
This picture is cool, but very cliche . It reminds me of the images you would find on a poster with a cheesy saying under it. I think you could have done more with the color. The whole image is very neutral and redundant. You could bring up the contrast or put a color overlay on the water to gave a different shade. Also I think sharpening the image would work wonders. My only other suggestion is to fix the angle of the photo. The horizon line is not parallel with the frame. Nice try.
