Drops of Life

Photo by Megan Mairs, 5th Period
I took this picture for a close up assignment. I love the rain drops on the petals and being able to capture that in a picture. I love the color variation in the petals on the flower. I also lilke the lighting on the top petals.

I really like this picture. It is very different, it isn’t your average blooming flower with lots of light and petals. This picture has dimensions and depth. It looks like the flower has a story.

this reminds me of vogue magazine. because it mostly looks really professional. im not good enough at critiquing to really say anything constructive here other than good job. i enjoyed viewing this!

Your explaination of the picture is exactly what my comment would be. I love the rain drops, color variation, and the lighting. I think you should've used contrast a little bit more, but it's still a really nice photo.

I really like this photo, it's really crisp and the droplets just pop off the picture. The red is very vibrant and it contrasts well with the white and green. I really like this photo, good job getting in close and staying so well in focus!

I enjoy looking at this photo particularly because of the fine detail in the drops of water and the contrast in the background and the bright undersides of the pedals.

This is a very vibrant picture, it can put many different emotions into the eye of the beholder. haha. but this is a great pic the vivid colors and water droplets, good focus.

this is one of the better photos submitted lately in my opinion. I really like how you got close enough to get the rain drops and i like that you got is in focus, nice colors and nice angle. great photo.

This photo is great! You got in so close to the flower, and the water droplets made the photo. This is definately above par.

I really like this photo, I think what makes it stand out is all the details that make it up. The lighting is good, very soft so that it compliments the flower and the curved lives, I also like that you can see the tiny creases and folds as well as the colors in the flower’s petals. I like the blurred background for the most part; the only thing that I would change is the fuzzy, cream-colored spot in the background, nothing major, it’s a great shot.

I love the colors in this picture. The lighting is really nice, i like the angle that it comes from. The contrast of the dark background and the bright petals makes the pictures really pop. No complaints.

i love this picture! a wilted flower with raindrops, it could be interrupted in so many ways. i like the lighting and everything though if possible it would have been really neat if the whole entire flower (pedals and all) where really crisp.

i love this flower. it looks dead but at the same time it is beautiful. the raindrops are very nice and the colors are lovely on the pedals. this is a very good picture.

i really like this picture. it shows, kind of, the life and death of a flower. the colors are brilliant and i love the water drops. that always adds interest. good job.

This is a great picture, the only thing I'd change is maybe zoom out a bout a half inch to get the whole flower in the picture.

I like the deep red in this picture and how clear the water is. And I like the texture on the flower.
