Photo by Nikki Woods, 5th PeriodI took the photo for our recent Night assignment. I went downtown to take my pictures because the scenery is more old fashion. This light was in a dark alley, with a door a few feet below it. I like this picture because it seems to fit the mood of the night it was taken, it was extremely cold out, and it just started to snow, and the next day we had a two hour late arrival to school.

This picture is so simple. But I really like its style. Great center of interest. I think the whole light could have been in it. But great shot.
I like this picture. The shadows surround the light and it looks oldschool like sherlock holmes or something. good center props!

Your picture reminds me of old detective movies and Shurlock Holmes...Kind of the foggy, creepy night feeling. Even though it is simple, I like the style and the "spread" of light you got that fades into complete darkness. The verticle cuts in the brick also add to it. Great Job!
