Confused

Photo by Caitie McKenzie, 6th Period
It snowed about three inches at my house and while that’s really not that big, in Washington we consider it a blizzard. So anyway I was out sledding and I saw this pansy, in full bloom, in December. I loved how the color really stood out against the white crystals. I tried it as a normal shot and realized it would look better if it was a macro. It’s nothing super unique but I liked it and I got really wet trying to take it.

I really like this picture and it has a really good idea behind it. My only complaint would be that the snow seems a little blurry but other then that i really like this picture.

I really like the coloring in this picture. The flower is very clear but I think the stem towards the bottom could have been clearer. I do like the overall apperance of this picture. Nice choice of subject.

the pansey kinda sends out a little cry of happiness or hope during a time of cold and the macro looks pretty cool b/c you can see individual flakes

I like this photo alot. The way the flower just stands out in all the white snow. The flower kind of stands out as a glimps of hope for spring. I think the shot could have been a little more clear, but overall great job!

This is a good close up picture because you can see the detail of the snow, and you can really see the colors of the flower.
