This is a portrait of my close friend, Holly. The photo shoot was not planned, so we had very little time to take photos. I used professional lamps for the first time, and also utilized some reflectors. My intentions were to strip the setting of any hard shadows and to fill the subject with light. We had a heck of a time just deciding how she should look, which is a project on its own. However, we pulled it together and got some great shots.

I love this! Great job! Wow, her face makeup and eyes look amazing, so powerful.
The lighting is really cool; the white background makes it so I only look at Holly.
The mood here is not so much sadness as determination. Love it!
I like this pohoto came out very well. The details of her makeup and face are shown well too.
This photo is amazing! It looks like it should be in a magazine. The placement is really good and so is the lighting. I think you could have made it even better by zooming out a little and getting more of her chin. Overall though it is an amazing photo!
