This particular shot was actually extremely lucky. Probably one of the luckiest and most random photographs I’ve ever taken. I had to whip out my camera pretty fast to catch this guy. He jumped out of a tree and landed on my friend Koda’s shoe. Fortunately enough, I got a great shot with him. And directly after, he flew away. I love how comfortable he looks, just sitting there with a lens in his face.

This picture is every interesting. Its amazing that you got the up close to the bug. I some what wish that the shoe was in focus so it would lead you to the bug in a way and the shoe looks a little to bright. So maybe if you changed your lighting just a little I think the picture would be perfect! Over this entire picture is pretty cool.

This is awesome! It's amazing how you got so close to the bug and caught the photo. I can clearly see every part of the bug. This is my favorite picture ever!

I really love the shot, and the "Humble" look of it all. The close up shot and the blur of the shoe is fantastic, great job!

This is a really good picture. I love how you can see every detail of the grasshopper. I like how the background if blurred so the grasshopper stands out more. Good job :)
Amazingly lucky that you got this photo, but it shows that you are always ready to take a picture, and you need to be to be a good photographer.
I know we shouldn’t say this in a critique but this photo is cool beans. Pretty much because you were able get the mantis so focused it makes the photo real nice.
