Recently, I’ve become fond of black and white photography. I was taking pictures by hood canal and found this interesting dead tree. This is a Brian Kosoff inspired picture. In Photoshop I transferred it to black and white.

This picture is very nice. I like how it's not just a clump of tree branches in the middle. The branches are off to the side that gives it a sense of space. It looks like something you would definitely see in a horror movie or something. If I was to edit this in photoshop, I would also put in back and white. Great idea.

I am usually one to like really exciting and complex pictures, but i really like this one. ITS SUCH A SIMPLE CONCEPT. i really like how the colors show contrast with the black and white. I also think the lighting is good. You can easily see the vivid tree branches against the white background. I also like how the branches are coming out from one side. This follows the rule of thirds. The focus is also spot on in this picture. Overall, i think this photo turned out very well.
I really love this picture. Its so simple with the black tree branches against the white sky, but thats what makes the picture. love it!
