Sea Spires

The goal of this assignment was to emulate a famous photographer, mine being Michael Levin, and create a presentation comparing my attempts and the actual thing. I enjoyed this assignment a lot because it really pushed me to try new things in Photoshop. This picture required much editing, as before it was a colored picture of a restraint and hotel concrete supports, literally numbering the hundreds. I drastically cut down on the visual clutter, did a lot of playing with various filters, layers, exposures, lightings, etc. and basically created the water underneath; nothing in this picture is really real aside from the supports. However I think I got the look down and like it immensely.

I think that you did achieve your goal. I've seen some of his work and it definitely looks like it. Although it seems simple, it is well done and interesting.
