this photo I took for the lighting assignment. It is of my baby nephew and I happened to catch him right as he was leaning on our railing of the porch. I didn’t really do much to it but crop it.

I really like this photo for a few reasons. The little boy looks very soft and innocent, and the lighting enhances that. The lighting in the photo is very gentle which draws attention to the only dark portion of the photo which is the child's hair. The boy's eyes grab your attention and stalls you from looking away. The outdoor setting that is blurred in the background really sets it so that the main focus is on the toddler.

Aww he is so cute. I love how he's doing a model pose, the head over the shoulder, kind of thing. I like how everything comes together in this portrait. the background color, the railing, his skin tone, and his hair are all a great color scheme.

This is a very pure photograph. The young boy, very large forgiving eyes, long frizzy hair and a very placid expression. The lighting is very natural, illuminating all crevices of the photo.
