I took this photo for my night shooting assignment. I liked how the bright the lights are and I think it looks good with the darker background, to where you can only see what the lights are illuminating. The picture is kind of blurry but I didn’t have a tripod with me at the time so it was harder to capture, I needed a slower shutter speed. The only thing I did was crop the picture because my neighbor’s window was in the picture and it was too distracting.

I really like the colors in this picture. I also like how the big lights are moving back and drawing your eye backward. It is a very interesting photo.

What I like about the photo is that the Christmas lights look so much larger than the tree. The element of composition used is close-ups with the Christmas lights look really big compared to the Christmas tree. The lighting and focus is perfect. The mood reflects Christmas time with all the Christmas lights.
