FALL COLORS

Description: I was walking around in my neighborhood and I noticed a bright yellow leaf laying on a pile of dark leaves. I loved the contrast of the different colors and I thought that I would take a few pictures for my Autumn assignment and I really liked the way that this one turned out.

I love the stark contrast of the yellow against the dark red, its gorgeous. I love the position of the leaf in the picture too along with the dark sort of lighting with it. It really seems to reflect the fall/winter mood with its color tones. Great job!

I like this picture because of the coloring of the leaf, how bright the yellow leaf is compared to the red leaves in the background. The yellow leaf is off towards the side of the frame which is good use of rule of thirds.

I love this picture. I really do like the yellow against the darker background. It makes the color of the yellow leaf stick out a little more than if it was just mixed in with some other yellow leaves. It really shows the beauty of fall. A.S.-SPHS
