Green Blades

Description: I took this photo in my backyard, as part of my elements of composition assignment. I focused on getting all the lines of the grass together getting most of the drops of water left from the morning dew in the picture as well. I used curves, levels and contrast tools to bring out the green color, and the glisten from the water. My favorite part about this photo is the interweaving of all the blades of grass.

Great picture for fill the frame. Yet, the overall appeal of the photo is very dull. There are lots of greens. The dew drops and grass pieces seem to start to become a little blurry as you reach the edges of the frame. Only some of the dew drops are in focus.

I love all the textures in this photograph. You did a great job. You can really see the raindrops clearly but it doesn’t take away from seeing the grass. I also like the different types of grass you got in the picture. The weeds on the right just add more to the photo, great job.

What I like about this photo is how you can see the dew on the grass. The element of composition is fill the frame. The lighting and focus is great. The mood reminds me of cold autumn mornings.

I really like how you can see the water drops on the grass blades. The element of composition used in this photo is the use of lines because the grass is lined up all going the same way. The focus and lighting is good. The photo reflects the mood of rain and Fall.

I like how you can see all the layers of blades of grass. The rain droplets on the grass makes the photo a more interesting picture. It could have bin a little more in focus to make the pictue really pop.
