Mirror World

This is another photo that I took for the Selective Color assignment. I had to so this twice because the first time I tried this it was foggy and I was wearing a grey sweatshirt, so there was very little color in the mirror. To get this shot I set up the mirror in a little patch of trees behind my house, set the timer, hit the button, and ran out in front of the mirror. It took a couple of tries to make sure I was centered in the mirror and didn’t have a weird look on my face. I really like how this turned out; it’s one of my favorite photos.

GREAT job with this photo. i really do love it. you did an excellent job pulling the color back out through the mirror and it really gives an emotional feel for me. it gives of this "alice in wonderland" mystical feel and you did excellent excellent work with it. great work.

I really like the way you executed this photo, but i would go even farther with changing the outfit to a dress. Give the photo more of a theme, or more emotion. But i do like the setting of your shoot. The idea behind this photo is very creative though. Great job!

This photo is really unique. You gave it a certain feel. Also, I like the colors of your outfit, they make the photo very eye catching

Now this is a nifty photograph! I loved how the reflection is in color and everything out is black n white. They used a good rule of thirds so your eyes are drawn directly to the colored reflection. Awesome job.

I like that the photo shows imagination and desire. It shows that you want to maybe get out of the life you are living. The colored part just draws me into that part of the photo. I like that the mirror image is the only thing colored because it says that in a world of boring black and white, you want to be original and colorful. It can show two opposite emotions like imagination or regret.

WOW! This is a totally awesome photo! By taking the photo in the woods made me drawn to it. Love love love how you brought color to her in the mirror. It looks like the actual person has a different emotion then her reflection does. Overall brilliant!!
