Autumn Afternoon

On a Sunday afternoon in October, my family and I went to a park in Tacoma to take pictures for my fall theme assignment. This was one of my favorite shots. I haven’t adjusted it at all and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I wish that there wasn’t that blue paper in it but other than that I’m especially proud of the framing and overall composition of this photo. I had a really fun day with my family and I’m really happy with this shot!

Simple and sweet are always the best pictures, and those that have special meaning to the photographer. You were right about the blue paper, but it's nothing you can't edit out later. My favorite part is the two reflections of the trees with the water in the middle. It moves my eyes up through the picture (as well as the blades of grass) and makes me wonder what else is there when the photo ends. Good work with this. PC-SPHS

I think that this is a really good photo. The only thing I would’ve done different is edit out the grass that is blurred right in the middle so that the grass framed the water cause to me the grass in the middle distracts from the rest of the photo. Also, maybe add a little contrast so that the colors stand out a little more.
