In this photo I was in the studio. It was my first time in the studio so I had a lot of fun playing with the lighting. I love flashy things so why not represent me in all of these photos. I’m very pleased with how this picture turned out. It is better than what I expected. I guess you can say I played it safe because I love close up’s and I know that’s one thing I truly excell in.

this is truly amazing. i like how close up you were able to get and still keep almost all of the subject in focus. very good work.

I love the colors in this photo, and the lighting as well. Plus you did a good job with the placement of the ring.
I like this photo. The contrasting colors make for an interesting piece. Also, the slightly large aperture allows the background to be slightly out of focus while the foreground is focused. The lighting is also well done because it brings some shadows into the piece. Another thing I like was the difference in textures. The random orientation of the jewelry also adds a good touch. However, only problem I see is the background. You could have possibly added a slightly more interesting color. Other than that, good job.

This is a very good shot. I like how you focused in on the beads and left the back of them out of focus. This really drags me into the center where your ring? is placed. Over all this is great shot.
This is a good picture. I like the contrast between the blue beads and the black beads, and i also like the contrast between the frosty beads and the shiny beads. The focus is great! Overall a good picture!

This is a cool shot. First, I love the colors you decided to use. The bright blue and black are such contrasts, that it creates an interesting piece. The diamond pendant is in perfect focus and I like how you are using the rule of thirds. Good job at getting the foreground and background in crisp focus. I love macro shots, and I think this one is great, especially since this is your first studio assignment. You have good lighting; nothing seems to be overexposed or underexposed. My eyes are immediately drawn to the center of the ring. Great job!!!!

i like the color of the picture and the texture of the beads in comparison to the ring the only thing i do not personally like is the composition its just not appealing the the eye
This picture caught my attention because at first, I wasn’t sure what it was. After reading the description, I discovered the photographer was trying some new things in a studio. The simplicity in this picture is brilliant. I love the contrast between the black beads and the blue beads. I think the picture adequately captures the idea of luxury. The subjects are clear and the lighting is perfect. Kudos, Gabby!
