I was in Tacoma with my brother Joel when we came across this really cool looking church so I did some close ups and did minor editing to make it B&W and I did a little spot burning to bring out the grain.
In collaboration with other schools around the country have started a blog to showcase student photos from the Photography 2 class at ERHS. Please feel free to leave constructive comments. Anonymous posts will be rejected. Include your name and school

Good job. I like this photo, it almost looks like it was taken a long time ago. I like that you turned it in to black and white it makes the picture even more interesting. This picture caught my eye. You did an awesome job.
It was hard to tell what this photo was at first, but that’s what makes it so amazing. I like what you did with the different effects.
It took me a minute to realize what this picture was but when I got it and started looking at it, I really liked it. You did a really nice job.
This picture is cool. Making it black and white makes it interesting, and the spot burning tool was a good idea.
I really like the composition of this piece. The angle and distance you used when taking the picture really makes it interesting for viewer. The contrast of lights and darks is also very nice and adds a great deal of depth. Great job!

I did presentation about a famous photographer last week. His name was Russell James. Guess what? Your picture reminds me his work. So, you are maybe the future great photographer.
