I took this photo of my sister’s drum for the macro assignment. I like the angle of the drum and the depth of field with the background. I took it on the manual setting and the macro setting on my lens and used a tripod to get rid of camera shake. I wish a little bit more of the drum was in focus, but other than that I like this image. It was a challenge for me to take macro pictures because I’m used to photojournalism, so I really liked how this one turned out.

this is a good picture great use of depth of field and it is crisp and composition is well thought out something kinda bothers me about the reflection itself but i do not know what it is then i agian i could just be crazy
and thanks for the nice comment on my picture of the stop light i like it when people leave well thought out criteques on my pics thanks much
I like this photo because of how well the main subject is in focus. This photo is balanced really well and is a picture you should be proud of!
this picture is really amazing. i love how you used the macro lens and really got up into the drum. :) great job.
Amazing picture. I disagree though, I don't think any more of the drum needs to be in focus than already is. That lack of focus actually serves to create a cool depth of field
This picture is really good. I like how the drum is really in focus and the backgrounds not. It’s also neat how u can see the reflections on the silver. I’m surprised how close to the drum. I think it turned out really well. GREAT JOB!
What I like about this photo is that that screw is almost the only thing in focus and the parts of the drum set that are sliver create a reflection that is out of focus. The drum set creates a nice depth of field to the picture and I think it turned out great.
