Lonely Shoes

I took this photo of my friend and her shoes. She was sitting on a table and I noticed writing on her shoes, her shoes were also a little bit worn and getting dirty so it just had a cool feel to it. In my head I thought it was a pretty cool idea to capture the writing and the condition the shoes were in. I had way to much room on the left side of the picture so I cropped out the stuff I did not want, so the picture would look a little more focused on the shoes and the writing on them.

normally pictures of shoes are reaaaalllly boring and overated, but not this picture. it's pretty simplistic with only black and white, yet it feels full of color (if that makes any sense). the "me?" speaks to me as if making itself known to others with a protruding question. i think if you had chosen any other background it would be like every other shot and sucked. the black background is under is probably underappreciated because of that.

I think pictures with shoes (especially Converse) are usually pretty cool. I also like how the background is dark like the shoes. You mentioned that the shoes were dirty, but you can’t really tell. But either way, this is still a good pic.

Dude I totally love this picture. I don’t think that their would be any other way to take it. Good Job.

The color contrast in this photo is amazing. The background looks so clear and dark that it looks like you had an actual background.

The simplistic idea of the photo is classic, but my favorite part is how it’s so monochromatic. I guess it would be easy to get that with a pair of chucks, but anywhere else that is hard to do. Kudos.
