Twinkle Toes

Photo By Megan Mairs, 5th Period
I took this shot for my famous photographer assignment. My goal was to capture the art of dance. This shot was taken while the dancers at my studio were practicing there dance for an upcoming show. I love how I captured them just as they paused for a moment and I love the lighting on the picture. I am very pleased with how this turned out.

I like this picture. It is kind of grainy, but I like that because it gives the picture more of an antique look. You did great with lighting, contrast, and visual perspective. I like the way that this turned out.

Good job, this picture makes me think of ballet. The light bouncing off the wood looks weird, you can make that go away by getting more angles. Black and white captures the theme of this photo.

First of all, I love black and white so you got me from the start. I like how you got down on the feet level and took the picture, it adds a lot. good job!

This is a real good picture. It’s pretty inspirational for me and I’m not a dancer. You did a great job!

Very Cool! It is neat how you captured the perfect shot with everyone up on points and made it black and white to give it “The look.” I like how you got the “triangle” of light coming through the door and the reflections off of the floor. If anything, you could adjust the grain a little bit to give it a really old look, but that’s mostly nitpicking….

I dont know why I like this photo so much. It must be because of the perspective one the girls feet. Great job on this shot.

I like the title of your picture. The black and white adds an artistic look to it. I like the perspective from witch you shot this. Nice job.

I like the picture but I think it would have looked better from a different angle

I love the picture. First of all, you captured the perfect shot. Secondly, the black and white adds an artistic look to it. Thirdly, I like how you got the light coming through the door and the reflections off of the floor. You gave also a really old look, which makes it more beautifully. Lastly, you brought the main subject in the center of the frame. This picture makes me happy, because I love dancing. Great job!

I like this picture a lot. I think the black and white sets the mood. The focus and angle of just the feet look amazing. I love it.

I think the name explains it all. The lighting is cool and its like a story in itself.

I really like this picture. The black and white brings out elegance and style to it. The rule of thirds is used great with the subjects not in the direct center. The feeling I get when I look at this photo is very relaxed.

I really like this photo. It is amazing to me. It really shows the art of the photo and what you are trying to capture. I also like how you captured the photo right as they stood up.
