Rock in Winter

Photo by Tionet Waters, 5th Period
In photography, we were assigned to take winter photos. I decided to include this photo because I like the way the sun makes the snow sparkle. I also wanted the rock because you can see the shadow of the sun on it. The sun also makes the rock look bigger. When people look at this photo, I want them to think of winter and playing in the snow.

Nice job, I think it might be stronger with out the right side near the edge of the print

I think this picture would have been better if there was not a shadow behind the rock. I think that takes away from the picture. I do see the sun making the snow sparkle but I think removing the shadow would have been best. It is still a pretty good picture.

This could be a better picture. You could have gotten more on the ground and gotten really close in to the dirt around the rock and with the rock almost blurred. Also the shadow catches more of my attention than the actual subject so i would try to maybe move around the rock the shadow isnt so huge.
