Andy

This is a picture I took while taking portraits. It’s a picture of my friend Andy we went to the Orting Park and explored different scenes. I like this picture for its light and open space.

Hula Doll

I took this photo for my famous photographer project. I was supposed to take a picture of little babies but I couldn’t use a real baby so I got creative and played around with a doll. I liked this one the best.

The bride’s dressing room

I took this image on a field trip to Laurel Creek Manor. I actually had to try quite a bit to get the angle right and I ended up taking the shot into a mirror that was reflecting on the scene. I cropped it straight on and did a small levels adjustment. I like this photo because of the simplicity of it, and the way the light comes through the window. I wish there was more detail in the curtains, but other than that I like it. Let me know what you think.

Rebel Child

I took this picture for the famous photographer assignment. I took a bunch of pictures of my friends little sister and this one was one of my favorites. I like how she looks like shes in a deep thought.

Under the Arbor

I took this photo on a class field trip to Laurel Creek Manor. It is a really beautiful place that holds weddings and receptions, among other things. I like this photo because I feel it is a good representation of the Manor and shows off its unique beauty. I used an adjustment layer to bump up the saturation and slightly raise the contrast, but that’s it.

Sky Waves

I went on a camping trip with some friends and I saw the sunset and how cool it looked to see the only clouds really in the sky gathered only around the setting sun. I also liked the driftwood tree stump I did some color enhancement on the image using adjustment layers on photoshop. I liked the way this turned out, is only my second panoramic image I’ve done.

Vase

I took this picture while doing my glass assignment. Nothing else turned out. I did like this one I like the light and how the shadow has a tint of red to it.

Mystery Lane

I took this picture for the winter theme assignment. I really love the way it turned out. I cropped it a little to get rid of non-sense. I also lightened it, it was kind of dark. Enjoy!

The Stairs

I was on a field trip with my class and we took pictures at a manor down in Sumner.
I noticed the stairs had a twist to them so I went to the top and tried to get a cool looking angle of them. It took me a few photos to get what I wanted. I did not mess with the photo. And I tried to get the part of the stairs were it started turning. I also liked the rug or whatever it is, it gave the photo more color than just wood. It gave it that happy medium.

Washington State University

I took this photo while on a college visit to WSU. I took a few interesting looking shots of the brick buildings and the textures of the old campus, but I’ve never really posted any photos like this before. I adjusted it to black and white because I liked the shadows. The photo looks crooked, but I was actually on a hill, and the road curved at the bottom.
